The story summary and questions were written in a way that makes it possible to use a New Testament reference in place of the Urantia reference. A selected chapter from a 1932 book, Treasure-House of the Living Religions, supports a spiritual theme that is found within the story. Children will use a one page handout that includes a coloring picture.

One special day, the disciples followed Jesus up into the hills. They sat down around him and heard him say, “Happy are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the sons of God.” We know that conflicts often arise among people. Peacemakers try to find ways to reduce conflict and restore friendliness. They have inner peace with God. We also see this written as, “Blessed are the peacemakers.” It is the seventh Beatitude from the Sermon on the Mount.
He heals divisions, and cements friendship;
Seeking peace, and ensuing it;
For, in peace is his delight, and his words
Are ever the words of a peacemaker. (Buddhism)
I will sincerely endeavor to bring about peace. (Hinduism)
