I who speak to you am he
Students may read Paper 143:5:1-8 or all of sections 5-6
Jesus had a remarkable encounter with a woman when he was sitting beside a well in Samaria. He asked her for a drink of water and revealed that he was the source of “living water.” Then, Jesus commanded her to go and get her husband. The woman suddenly realized that Jesus knew about her life and that he was a holy man. They talked about the worship of God. When she mentioned the coming of the Deliverer, Jesus made a startling statement: “I who speak to you am he.”
Discussion Questions
