For adult study: "Hosanna!"
The story summary and questions were written in a way that makes it possible to use a New Testament reference in place of the Urantia reference. A selected chapter from a 1932 book, titled Treasure-House of the Living Religions, supports a spiritual theme that is found within the story. Children will use a one page handout that includes a coloring picture.
The Urantia Book
On the Sunday before he died, Jesus rode into Jerusalem on the colt of a donkey. A joyful crowd followed him into the city. They spread their garments on the road for the donkey to walk upon. They cut leafy branches from trees to place on the road as well. They cried out, “Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!” The day of this memorable entry into Jerusalem became known as Palm Sunday.
Blessed be the name of thy Lord, full of majesty and glory! (Islam)
Be thankful unto Him, and bless His name;
For, the Lord is good. His mercy is everlasting.
And His truth endureth to all generations. (Judaism)
